How many cakes per syringe

My only problem is my lil aquarium is only a 10 gal so I may be able to fit one tray. I am still curious though to how much spores I should use to innoculate? LC is 1ml per quart. Hey guys could I get your expertise one last time. Do you think it is necessary for someone such as myself who is new to this to go and make a liquid culture to innoculate my bags? Im only worried with regular spore syringe it's going to take multiple injections. Of course I have no idea which is why I'm asking.

So the LC pretty much is just a jump start on getting the spores started and you take your LC and just inject your bag with it? That would be pretty cool to have different lil types of mushies growing.

I am tempted to grab another strain before I start this next one to have two different types. I don't know but I can't image there being much of a difference in the differenty types of psylicin mushrooms. I mean psilicybin is psylicybin please correct me if Im wrong. I started using lc a few months ago and never looked back.

So much more efficient than using spore water. Cuts colonization time down in quart jars of grains and also pf jars by at least a week. Copyright Mind Media. Some rights reserved. Generated in 0. I have a quick question I am buying some spores and I am trying to decide how many syringes I should get How many half pint cakes will 10cc's get me? From what i've read, you use about cc per cake. So that is about 5 to 10 cakes. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.

I should also add that I would use 1cc per jar so as to not mess up the water content of your substrate It is better to have your substrates a little on the drier side then the wetter side. Use as little as you can to get a visible drop in each hole.

Less is more with spores. With a little practice, you can do 10 jars with 5 mL or less. Jump to first unread post Pages: 1 Gratos Just thinkin anddrinkin. I havent grown mushies in years and I cant remember how many jars I can knock up per syringe.

If you are doing grain jars, I can do 12 per 10cc syringe. Since jars come in dozens, I make a 10cc syringe stretch just a little bit. Always works for me I stretch mine out to 12 when I'm doing a full dozen, although if I'm not doing a dozen I'll usually get about 10 jars out of it. William S. With a 10cc I can get 10 jars. You can refill that syringe with sterilized water and use it again. I personally would do 1cc maybe 2cc per bag. What about shaking the bag up after the initial inoculation? I have heard conflicting opinions on this I just cant imagine why shaking after inoculation would hurt.

Don't shake Quote: cronicr said: Don't shake Quote: phishphan79 said: What about shaking the bag up after the initial inoculation? U will get your own system down soon. I personally would use agar to inoculate such a large quantity of grain.
